Rigorously, unhurriedly, and with the conviction that the most important diagnosis is often the one not yet made.
About Dr Moollan
Dr Moollan is a Women's Health Consultant with twenty years’ experience across leading London teaching hospitals — including Guy’s & St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital and St George’s — now seeing private patients at The Harley Street Hospital.
He is known, above all, for the quality of his consultations — for the time he takes, the care with which he listens, and his ability to help each patient understand what is really happening and decide what is right for them. His approach is attentive and whole-person: he looks beyond the immediate symptom to the fuller picture — your history, your circumstances, and what matters most to you.
Where others see a symptom, Dr Moollan sees a story. A pattern. A moment in time within a longer biological and human narrative. Colleagues describe him as a clinician of rare perceptiveness — someone who makes connections others miss, asks the question behind the question, and gives patients something they rarely find elsewhere: the feeling of being truly understood.
He sees women and men. He has particular depth in hormonal, menstrual and menopausal health, fertility, and complex or unexplained presentations that have remained unresolved elsewhere.
In 2022, Dr Moollan undertook a Fellowship in Ayurvedic Medicine with Dr Deep Singh — a two-year immersion in ancient diagnostic tradition. He holds membership of the College of Medicine and Integrated Health, and maintains active research collaborations with institutions including the University of Sharjah, UCL, and Harvard. He serves as Chief Medical Advisor to SixPointFive, advancing menstrual health equity in low-resource communities worldwide.
The practice
Most patients arrive carrying more than their symptoms — their own worries, and often fears that belong to other people. The first part of a consultation is simply to set those down, and to return to what is true for you.
What follows takes its time. Your story is heard in full and pieced together — the feeling, the history, and everything around it — until what is happening makes sense to you, in plain words, often drawn out on paper so that you can take it with you. So often, the answer was in the story all along.
Sometimes that leads to treatment. Sometimes to reassurance, or to seeing your situation clearly for the first time. Dr Moollan’s approach draws on the full depth of his clinical training alongside an integrative view of health — weighing the biological, the psychological, and the life around it in equal measure.
Life Medicine
Dr Moollan is certified by the Sam Pulse Institute in Life Medicine — a philosophy that takes a total approach to health. Where conventional medicine often focuses on sustaining life, the Sam Pulse Institute believes in adding life — in depth, quality, and vitality. It is not about managing symptoms but about understanding the whole person and helping them flourish.
At its heart is the understanding that two environments shape our health in equal measure: the world we live in, and the cellular world within us. Patient environment awareness and cellular environment awareness are central to lasting wellbeing. Diagnostics are the gateway — Dr Moollan uses advanced tools including genomic and biomarker testing, sleep assessment, and integrative health surveys to build the fullest possible picture of where you are and what your body needs.
He has a particular interest in technology and wearables, and regularly engages his patients with the Life App — an intelligent tool that supports consultations and helps patients track their experience between appointments. This longitudinal view is especially important in women’s health, where patterns, cycles, and change over time are often where the most meaningful information lives.
This way of working sits alongside his long association with the Nadi Foundation — a tradition, thousands of years old, that reads the body as a language of balance and flow. Ancient and modern, held together.
Areas of care
Dr Moollan’s surgical practice centres on minimal-access, day-case hysteroscopy — treating problems within the womb without the need for general anaesthetic. This includes removal of fibroids and polyps, endometrial biopsy, and the fitting or removal of coils. He also performs vaginal microscopy — the most refined diagnostic instrument in gynaecological practice.
From the practice
“A patient had seen several doctors requesting labiaplasty. During our consultation I sensed there was something more — not anatomy, but a story. I named what I had seen: someone must have said something to you once that stayed. She denied it. Then, a moment later, a memory arrived. She spent ten minutes releasing something she had carried for years. She left knowing she needed nothing more.”
“A patient with pain that nobody had been able to explain. I asked her to open her phone — her menstrual app. Together we mapped her symptoms against her cycle and found the exact day, repeated month after month. Ovulation-related. Cyclical. Precise. The body had been trying to tell its story all along.”
“In a birth centre in Bali, a midwife told me there were two words missing from modern medicine. Compassion and love. I had twenty years of clinical training. But in that room I understood that the most important thing I could offer a patient was not a procedure. It was to be fully present with them.”
Patient voices
I now understand what is going on with me. I am happy to be discharged — I don’t need or want any drugs or intervention.
You have been an absolute gentleman, and your care has been second to none. I really could not have asked for better — you have been exceptional.
I felt heard and left the consultation feeling relieved. Patient-centred, empathetic, kind and thorough. Thank you for explaining everything so clearly.
